NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Mitchell College Department of Athletics announced its 2020 induction class for Chi Alpha Sigma on Monday.

The Mariners added seven new members to the organization, which is the first and only academic fraternity recognizing the athletic and academic achievements of college student-athletes. Joining the ranks were seniors Seth Strader (men's soccer) and Yasmine Mai Le (women's soccer) and juniors Hannah Corrigan (women's soccer, lacrosse), Diego Di Carlantonio (men's soccer), Connel Henderson (men's basketball), Kaitlin Thibodeau-Corey (softball) and Roland Thivierge (baseball).

The mission of Chi Alpha Sigma is to bring honor and recognition to deserving student-athletes, their families, teams, athletic departments and colleges. To be considered for induction student-athletes must be a junior with a 3.4 cumulative GPA, possess good moral character and must earn a letter in a varsity sport.

Mitchell is one of eight Chi Alpha Sigma chapters in Connecticut. The Mariners have inducted a total of 99 student-athletes since 2008 (see full list).
