Ninety-Two Student-Athletes Earn Academic Honors

A total of 92 student-athletes were among those who received academic recognition from Mitchell College for the 2021 spring semester.

All honorees recorded a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the semester. Of that group, 52 student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.50+ GPA) while 40 were tabbed Commendable Scholars. A total of seven student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA.

Mitchell student-athletes also turned in an impressive semester as a group. The 13 teams and nearly 200 student-athletes combined to post a 3.07 GPA.

Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for either Commendable Scholar or Dean's List:

1. Must be a matriculated student.
2. Part-time students are eligible for commendable scholar status for every 12 calculable credits completed.
3. Must have a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 for the given semester (Commendable Scholar) or 3.50 and 4.00 for the given semester (Dean's List).
4. May not have any Incomplete, Satisfactory (S), Unsatisfactory (U), Withdrawal or Failing grades for the given semester.
