FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Mitchell College baseball team dropped a 10-2 decision to Centenary College on Saturday in a nine-inning affair.

He struck out six and allowed only three hits, leaving his team with a 2-1 lead after six innings. Centenary then hit up the Mitchell bullpen for nine runs over the final three frames to pull out the win.

Junior Paul Martinez led the Mitchell offense with two hits and also stole a base. Freshman Connor Rochefort also went 2-for-4 at the plate.

The Mariners return to action on Sunday with a doubleheader against Westminster College at 8 a.m.
