Spring Rocket League Schedule Announced

NEW LONDON -- The Mitchell College esports program has solidified its Rocket League schedule for the 2021 spring semester, as announced by head coach Chris Leonard over the weekend.

The Mariners are primed to compete in 17 contests in their debut season and will battle against opponents from all over the country. Play begins tonight against Dakota Wesleyan University at 8 p.m. A complete list of dates is below.

"As excited as I am for the upcoming spring schedule, I am more excited for growth I am seeing from this team," said Leonard. "These games are just an opportunity for everyone to see all the hard work and dedication that I see every day in practice. I am proud to be a part of this community."

Team captain Clare Murphy (s_murfz) will lead the squad, which also includes Ruben Gomes (Rubzs12_GS), Daniel Hotaling (TenFORREST88) and Elisabeth Reid (Flamingpuppeteer). The group has been hard at work to prepare for the season.
