Southern Vermont led by as many as 33 points in the second half. Taylor scored 13 of his 15 points in the stanza as the Mountaineers picked up their 10th straight win. SVC has now won 30 straight NECC regular season games dating back to the 2013-14 season.

Several Mitchell reserves played well in the second half. Zachary Mosley scored a career-best eight points while Adino Lawrence added six. Corey Jackson finished with five points and three rebounds while Gemel McLeod had two steals and two assists in his collegiate debut.
