Senior Alfonzo Stokes (Bloomfield, Conn.) finished with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Mariners, who lost for the first time since their season opener back on November 9th. Jalen Benson (New London, Conn.) grabbed eight rebounds and added six points for the visitors.

The Camels led wire to wire, growing their advantage to as much as 28 points in the waning moments of the first half. The Mariners were able to trim the deficit to 12 points on a pair of free throws by Benson with four minutes and 16 seconds remaining in the game, however the Camels immediately converted a three-point play to create further separation.

Conn was efficient shooting the ball all game, finishing 57.4% from the field compared to Mitchell, who shot just 44.4%. The Mariners won the rebounding battle 36-31 and dished out more assists 18-15, yet turned the ball over five more times than the home team, which led to the Camels scoring 31 points off turnovers.

The Mariners (8-2) will look to bounce back on Tuesday, December 13th, when they visit Springfield College at 7:00 pm. The Camels (8-2) will host Johnson & Wales University on Monday, December 12th, at 8:00 pm.
