Golf Closes Out Season at Becker

LEICESTER, Mass. -- In its final match of the fall, the Mitchell College men's golf team placed third at a tri-match hosted by Becker College on Tuesday afternoon at Leicester Country Club.

Newbury College finished first overall with a team score of 325, followed by Becker (388) and Mitchell (398). Newbury's Stephen Peltier carded the low round of the day with a six-over par 76.

Mitchell was led by junior Matt Grudgen, who finished with a round of 96 on the day. Senior Joshua Muckle (99), freshman Ryan Swarts (101), freshman Andres Sprick (102), and senior Chris Heller (108) rounded out the scoring for the Mariners.
