Men's Golf Comes Up Short at Albertus Magnus

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team defeated Mitchell College by 13 strokes in a dual match on Friday afternoon at Alling Memorial Golf Course.

The Falcons carded a team total of 368 while the Mariners entered the clubhouse with an aggregate score of 381. Albertus Magnus saw three players finish in the top-four led by Aaron Macchia with an eight-over par 80. Macchia earned low individual medalist honors while Mitchell's David Eichelberg finished as runner-up with an 83.

Mitchell returns to action on Tuesday, September 27 at Westfield State University. Tee time is slated for 10 a.m.
