HAMDEN, Conn. – Mitchell College senior Shamus McLean (Groton, Conn.) finished tied for eighth place in the 2023 GNAC Men’s Golf Championship, which wrapped up on Tuesday evening after two days at New Haven Country Club (Par-70, 6560 Yards).
First Day of GNAC Men's Golf Championship Suspended Due to Darkness

Due to darkness, the final group will have to complete the 18th hole on Tuesday morning before the second round of play begins.

HINGHAM, Mass. – Senior Shamus McLean finished second overall on Thursday, as the Mitchell College men’s golf team returned to action at the EC Invite played at South Shore Country Club in Hingham, Massachusetts, which is a par-72 and measured 6,270 yards. The four team tournament also included Albertus Magnus College, Rhode Island College, and host Emmanuel College.

Entering his 11th season at the helm of the golf program, Todd Peretz will lead the team into the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), after competing in the MASCAC for the previous four years.
