DUDLEY, Mass. -- Mitchell College suffered an 18-1 setback to Nichols College on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at Vendetti Field.
McCarthy Brodaski netted the lone goal for the Mariners on the day. Goalie JD LeMay made 21 saves but faced 59 shots in the contest.
Nine different Nichols players scored goals led by five from Cole Fontana.
The Bison scored the first 12 goals of the contest before Brodaski's marker put the Mariners on the board just before halftime. Nichols then blanked Mitchell in the second half while adding six more goals to its total.
Mitchell (1-3 overall) will next host Rivier University on Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m.
