Derosier Nets NECC Player of the Week Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Mitchell College senior Jordan Derosier was named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the sport of men's soccer, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Derosier, a senior captain, led the Mariners to a pair of wins last week. He recorded a career-high five points in a road win at Southern Vermont College, scoring two goals while assisting on the game winner. He started both games and anchored a defense that allowed only one goal in 180 minutes.

Derosier earned weekly honors for the second time this season (September 1). He has started and played in 11 games this year and ranks fourth on the team in scoring with four goals and a pair of assists.

Mitchell (7-6-1 overall) will look to extend a three-game winning streak at Gordon College on Wednesday, October 15 at 6 p.m.
