NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College dropped a 3-0 decision to Brandeis University on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference men's soccer clash at Alumni Field.

The Judges scored all three goals during a 15:43 stretch in the first half, and their defense limited the Mariners to only one shot on goal in the contest. Brandeis improved to 4-2-3 overall with the victory.

Just over five minutes later, Jared Panson served a corner kick into the box that took a bounce before being headed in by Max Breiter. Will DeNight added the game's final tally in the 31st minute to put the Judges up 3-0.

Brandeis goalkeeper Greg Irwin made one save to record his third shutout of the season. The stop came on a header by Julian Cortez late in the first half. Mitchell keeper Michael Kennedy Jr. finished with eight saves.
