HOFFMAN AND BLETTE TOP FINISHERS AT 2007 ECAC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Williamstown, MA -- (11/4/1007) Mitchell Men's and Women's Cross Country sent some of this season's top finishers to the Division III East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Cross Country Championships this past Saturday hosted by Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. at Mount Greylock Regional High School.
On the men's side, freshman John Hoffman (Bala Cynwyd, PA) finished 56th (28:00) overall out of 265 runners in the men's 8K. Sophomore Eric Appleby (Monroe, CT) ran at his second ECAC championship, finishing with a personal best of 28:55 for 97th place. Freshman Charles Favale (Rockaway, N.J.) crossed the tape in 31:55 for 207th place and classmate Gary Largess finished in 32:06 for 214th place. The lone female for Mitchell, Erin Blette (Ledyard, CT) finished her 6K race in 31:02 for 219th place.
