Runners Earn All-Conference Honors; Men Runners Up in Conference Championships

Boston, Mass.-Newbury College hosted the inaugural 2008 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Cross Country Championship yesterday at Franklin Park. Eight of the nine member institutions participated in the race which saw top team finishes from the Daniel Webster Eagles (39 points) on the men’s side and the Lesley Lynx (28 points) on the women’s side.

New London, Conn--Mitchell Men's Cross Country finished first and had the first four runners cross the finish line in the Mitchell College 5000 Meter Invitational on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. John Hoffman (Bala Cynwyd, PA) finished first with a time of 17:35.
