XC Closes Season at ECAC Championship

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Championship at Colt State Park on Saturday afternoon.

The men's team finished 45th out of 46 teams in the field while the women's squad did not register a team score. Freshman Samuel Williams led the men's team with a time of 30:46.76 over the 8k course while sophomore Sheilah Newcity paced three Mitchell runners with a time of 28:25.35 in the women's 6k race.

The ECAC Championship was Mitchell's final event of the season.
