XC Races at CCRI Tri-State Invitational

LINCOLN, R.I. -- The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the CCRI Tri-State Invitational on Saturday morning.

The Mitchell men finished eighth out of nine teams while the women placed seventh in the field of seven. Wentworth took home the team title on the men's side while Salve Regina finished first in the women's race.

Samuel Williams paced the Mitchell men's squad and finished 64th overall with a time of 32:55.87 over the 8k course. Ashleigh Beauford led the Mariners on the women's side and finished 48th overall with a time of 24:44.02 over the 5k race.

Mitchell will next race at the James Early Invitational on Saturday, October 11 at 11 a.m.
