Cross Country Runs at Elms

CHICOPEE, Mass. - The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Elms Invitational on Saturday morning at Chicopee State Park.

The men's team placed sixth out of seven teams while the women's squad placed eighth out of 11 teams. Trinity College won both races.

Leading the Mariners on the men's side was Jeffrey Rodman, who finished 36th overall in a time of 33:41. Caelin Hetherman paced the women's team with a time of 29:26 and finished 37th overall.

Mitchell will next compete at the CCRI Tri-State Invitational on October 3.
