Cross Country Runs at Tri-State Invitational

LINCOLN, R.I. - The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Tri-State Invitational on Saturday at the CCRI Flanagan campus.

The Mitchell men placed 11th out of 12 teams. Jeffrey Rodman set the pace for the Mariners and finished the 8k course in a time of 34:09.94 to finish 77th overall. 

Ashleigh Beauford and Katie McCormack paced the women's team, which finished eighth out of 10 squads. Beauford completed the 5k course in a time of 24:48.21 and finished 76th overall while McCormack clocked in at 25:06.02 and 81st overall. 

Mitchell will next run at the James Earley Invitational on Saturday, October 10 at 11 a.m.
