XC Runs at Blazers Invitational

CHICOPEE, Mass. - The Mitchell College cross country teams competed at the Blazers Invitational on Saturday morning at Chicopee Memorial State Park.

The Mitchell men's squad finished fourth out of seven teams while the women's team placed seventh out of nine. David Still posted the best time for the Mariners in the men's 8k race with a time of 31:58, good enough for 14th place out of 62 runners. Kate McCormack paced the women's team in the 6k race with a time of 29:49 and finished 33rd in the field of 79.

Mitchell will next compete at the CCRI Tri-State Invitational on Saturday, October 1 at 10 a.m.
