XC Preps at James Earley Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams raced at the James Earley Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Stanley Park.

The Mariners competed in the blue race and produced individual results with four runners on each squad. Evan Carney paced the men's team with a time of 29:14.97 over the 8k course, good enough to finish 13th overall. He was also the fastest NECC competitor on the course all day. On the women's side, Aizhane Glenn turned in her best performance of the season, finishing the 5k course in 25:34.13.

Mitchell will wrap up the season at the 2019 NECC Championship on Saturday, October 26.
