Cross Country Runs in Connecticut Division III Challenge

WATERFORD, Conn. -- The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Connecticut Division III Challenge on Saturday on Saturday at Stenger Park.

Freshman Albert Franck, who was recently named NECC Rookie and Runner of the Year, was the top finisher for Mitchell, crossing the finish line in a time of 18:58. Collin Rider was right behind him with a time of 19:29, and Alexander Nardone and Timothy O'Hayre rounded out the participants for the Mariners with times of 24:58 25:29 respectively. Blake Rogers of Connecticut College was the top male finisher with a time of 16:21. 

Abigail Rasmussen paced the Mariners with a time of 24:19, while Katelyn Lipsky also placed rounded out the women with a time of 30:51. Katie Keating of Connecticut College was the top finisher (20:37).
