NEW LONDON, CT.- The 2006 All-Independent Women’s Softball teams were announced recently by the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I). Mitchell College had two members acknowledged for their outstanding efforts on the diamond.
SOFTBALL DROPS TWO TO AD3I FOE GREEN MOUNTAIN

NEW LONDON, CONN. - Green Mountain College leaves the Alumni Softball Field at 7-4 after taking two from Mitchell on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles doubled the Pequots efforts in each game winning 6-3 and 10-5. Mitchell stands at 2-4 against Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) and 4-11 overall.
SOFTBALL TAKES TWO FROM BECKER COLLEGE

NEW LONDON, CONN.-Mother nature has kept the Pequots of Mitchell College off the softball diamond for quite some time, with their last four scheduled games cancelled or postponed due to weather related issues. The Pequots, eager to return to action, opened their weekend home stand with two wins over Becker College Friday afternoon on the Alumni Softball Field, 10-5 and 10-9.
Mitchell drops two to AD3I foe UMaine- Presque Isle

NEW LONDON, CONN.- Mitchell faced the University of Maine – Presque Isle in their first Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. The Pequots lost the first game 9-1 in five innings and the second game 15-6 in six innings. Mitchell drops to 0-6 so far this season and now 0-2 in AD3I. UMPI continues their winning streak and are now 4-0 and 2-0 in AD3I play.
Blue Jays take two from Pequots
New London, CT- Mitchell College Softball lost 1-12 (5 innings) and 2-10 (5 innings) to Saint Joseph’s College, CT on Monday. Mitchell drops to 2-8 (2-2 AD3I) this season.
