NEW LONDON, CT --- Mitchell College ended a 8 game winning streak for the Lions of Lincoln University in their Association of Division III Independent match-up Sunday afternoon at the Yarnall Athletic Center. Mitchell, now 6-10 on the season, won the match up 76-66. The Lions leave New London at 12-7.
JEFFREYS LEADS TEAM TO 76-61 VICTORY OVER DWC

NEW LONDON, CONN. - Senior guard Alva Jeffreys (Bridgeport, CT/Kolbe Cathedral) was the driving force behind Mitchell's 76-61 (5-10) win over the Eagles of Daniel Webster College (5-8) Thursday night at the Yarnall Athletic Center in New London, Conn. With 29 total points, five of nine tries from behind the three-point arc and 10 of 20 from the field, Jeffreys shot 50 % from the field on the night.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DROPS GAME TO BRIDGEWATER STATE 67-55

NEW LONDON, CT--Mitchell College Women's Basketball headed into tonight's game with Bridgewater State College hoping to break their 5 game slide. Trailing by seven at the half (38-31), the Pequots and Bears were tied five times in the first half and took the lead three times a piece. The second half belonged solely to Bridgewater State, now 5-4 for the season. Mitchell will head into the holiday break at 2-6.
