KANSAS CITY, MO.--- Midfielder Christina Quitasol of California State University, East Bay, and forward Elizabeth Clem-Schneider of Salem College were named co-offensive players of the year and headline the All-Independent Women's Soccer teams named today by the Association of Division III Independents.

NEW LONDON, CONN.—Women’s soccer squeezed out a victory against the Yellow Jackets of Lyndon State College with a 2-1 in the last 5 seconds of the game. The win moves Mitchell to 2-6-1 and Lyndon State to 3-5 so far this season. The women started off the first half of a men’s and women’s double header at Mitchell Saturday afternoon.

NEW LONDON, CONN.—Second year head coach Damian Houlden and his women’s soccer team opened up their 2007 campaign with a 3-0 win over Pine Manor College on Alumni Field on Saturday afternoon. The first game of the season for the two young teams produced only four shots in the first 40 minutes.
