Mariners Earn Postseason Honors in Men's and Women's Soccer & Volleyball

 
ATTLEBORO, Mass. - A total of nine Mitchell College student-athletes from the men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball teams earned postseason NECC honors, as announced by the conference late Friday night.

All awards were voted on by the conference's head coaches.

The men's soccer team was represented by four members. Sophomore forward James Gleason and freshman defender Matt Grandy were selected to the all-conference first team. Junior defender John Burkart was named all-conference second team while sophomore goalkeeper Kevin Woodford garnered honorable mention status.

On the women's side, the Mariners landed four players on either the first or second team. Sophomores Nikki Hoxie, a forward, and Leslie Briggs, a midfielder, earned all-conference first team accolades. Junior forward Paige Ehnot and freshman defender Kaitlyn McGinn were named all-conference second team at their respective positions.

Representing the volleyball team was junior Stephanie Davis, who earned honorable mention honors.
