CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Mitchell College women's soccer team suffered a 7-0 setback to Lesley University on Wednesday night in New England Collegiate Conference action at Edwards Field.
Lesley scored five goals in the first half and added a pair in the second to improve to 12-2-2 (6-0-1 NECC) on the season. Karlie Rubin and Sarah Pochobradsky each finished with two goals apiece to lead the Lynx offense.
Mitchell goalkeeper Jordan Lohneiss faced 25 shots and recorded seven saves in the contest.
Mitchell (1-9-1 overall, 1-5-1 NECC) will next host Bay Path University on Saturday, October 21 at noon.
