HENNIKER, N.H. -- The Mitchell College women's soccer team fell by a 3-1 final at New England College on Saturday afternoon in a New England Collegiate Conference clash at Don Melander Field.

The Pilgrims scored the first three goals of the contest and didn't allow a score until the final minute of play. Molly Bieksha and Jenna Gardyne each tallied in the first half while Paytne Walker added the third goal in the 61st minute. Mitchell got on the scoreboard with 30 seconds remaining when a NEC foul in the box resulted in a penalty kick.
