Chris Steele enters his first season as a member of the women's program in the fall of 2023.

Head coach Marc Davis said this of Steele’s appointment: “We have long been looking for someone to play an important role within our program in terms of scouting prospective student-athletes and our opposition. We are delighted to have Chris join in this role and to also analyze our own performances.”

Steele played for Enrico Fermi High School from 1994-1998 and is currently coaching with the Mach 1 Futbol Club in the northeast region of Conn., and Rhode Island. He has previously worked with Northeast United Soccer Club and Spirit of Liverpool USA Football Club. He holds his United States Soccer Federation ‘D’ License and is a part of a cohort of coaches that will complete the ‘C’ License by spring of 2024. He holds an accreditation from Liverpool International Academy.

He attended Grace Christian University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and Ministry before joining the United States Marine Corps from 1998-2002. Steele resides in Killingly, Conn., with his wife of eighteen years, Ashley, and their two daughters.
