VOLLEYBALL WINS IN THREE OVER ALBERTUS MAGNUS

NEW LONDON, CONN.- Mitchell College defeated Albertus Magnus College 3 - 0 (30-9, 30-16, 30-22) to bring their record to 4-2. The Pequots were led by captainTheresa Kouris (SR, Ledyard, CT, Criminal Justice) with 16 kills and 25 service points. Kouris reeled off 18 consecutive service points in game one to overpower the Hawks. Trina Collins-Dean (SR, Westerly, RI, Criminal Justice) led Mitchell in assists on the night with 21.

Mitchell will return to action on Tuesday, September 19th for their 7:00 PM game against cross-town rival Connecticut College. The Albertus Magnus (New Haven, CT) Hawks will travel to Simmons College this Saturday for a GNAC conference tri-match with Simmons College and Suffolk University.
