Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision at ECSU

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - The Mitchell College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Eastern Connecticut State University on Monday night.

ECSU (7-7 overall) won the match by final scores of 25-9, 25-9 and 25-13. The Warriors were led by Britt Carrer (eight kills), Danielle Bourne (seven kills) and Erin Moriarty (seven kills).

Mitchell (1-3 overall) was led by senior Heather-Renae Powers, who recorded 14 digs and added three kills and three blocks. Junior Jennifer Bordonaro also had 14 digs for the Mariners.

Mitchell will next face WPI (1 p.m.) and host Mass Maritime (3 p.m.) on Saturday, October 3.
