Volleyball's McKeon Earns All-Conference Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Mitchell College senior Stephanie McKeon was named to the NECC All-Conference Second Team for the sport of women's volleyball, as announced by the New England Collegiate Conference on Monday afternoon.

McKeon played in all 22 matches this past season and made 20 starts. She led the Mariners in kills with a career-high 2.43 per set and ranked third fourth in the NECC in the category. She also ranked second on the team in service aces (37) and third in digs (152).

McKeon, a team co-captain, earned all-conference honors for the second time in her career. In 2008 she was named to the first team, and last season she garnered honorable mention status. A four-year letterwinner at Mitchell, McKeon played in 73 matches and finished with career totals of 478 kills and 513 digs.

Mitchell finished the 2010 campaign with an overall record of 6-16 and tied for sixth place in the NECC with a 2-5 conference mark.
