QUINCY, Mass. -- The Mitchell College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of 3-0 finals on Saturday afternoon in a tri-match at Eastern Nazarene College.
In the day's first game, Eastern Nazarene topped the Mariners by set scores of 25-18, 25-12 and 15-13. Megan Elphick paced Mitchell with seven kills while Myia Williams added three.
In the second game, Pine Manor College swept Mitchell by set scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-13. Marissa Sweeney led the way with six kills while Gabrielle Murphy chipped in with four.
Mitchell (0-5 overall) will next play at the University of Saint Joseph on Tuesday, September 19 at 7 p.m.
