SALEM, Mass. - The Mitchell College women's volleyball team fell by a 3-0 final on Thursday night in non-conference action at Salem State University.
The Vikings (4-3 overall) won by set scores of 25-16, 25-12 and 25-20. Jasmine Severino paced Salem State with a match-high 10 kills while Brynn O'Neill added seven, and Morgan Adams handed out 21 assists to go along with four service aces.
The Mariners (0-4 overall) were led by Laurissa Amaker with five kills and eight digs while Shyla Phillips-Krick contributed a match-high 11 digs.
Mitchell will next play a doubleheader at the University of Saint Joseph (CT) on Saturday, September 15. The Mariners take on Saint Joseph's (ME) at 2 p.m. before facing off against the host Blue Jays at 4 p.m.
