Volleyball Eliminated by Top-Seeded Eastern Nazarene

QUINCY, Mass. -- Eighth-seeded Mitchell College saw its season come to an end in the quarterfinals of the 2018 New England Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Championship on Tuesday night, falling by a 3-0 final to top-seeded Eastern Nazarene College at the Lahue Physical Education Center.

Quick starts by the Lions were the key in all three sets as the Mariners consistently found themselves in a hole. Courtney McCarthy led the way for ENC with 16 kills and hit .500 for the match. 

Ariana Carter paced the Mariners with 10 kills on the night while Nikki Gerald added eight. Shyla Phillips-Krick led all players with 13 digs while Cameron Childs handed out 23 assists. 

The Mariners, who were making their sixth NECC Championship appearance all-time, end the season with an overall record of 3-17.
