Hasani Williams

Sophomore Hasani Williams averaged 24.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 65 percent from the field last week to lead the Mitchell men's basketball team. He recorded his second double-double of the season against Maritime College, finishing with a career-high 32 points to go along with 10 rebounds. He shot 14-for-18 from the field in the contest and also chipped in three assists, two steals and a block. Earlier in the week he scored 16 points and pulled down six boards in a match-up against Division I Sacred Heart University. For his efforts, Williams was tabbed New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
