Domenico Santiago

Junior Domenico Santiago averaged team highs of 29.0 points and 15.5 rebounds per game last week as the Mariners went 2-0 in NECC play. He netted 22 of his game-high 32 points in the second half in a win over Newbury College, shooting 13-for-15 from the floor while grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds. He also had 26 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, one steal and a block in a win over Becker College earlier in the week. He shot 23-for-32 (72 percent) from the floor for the week and also went 12-for-13 (92 percent) from the free throw line. For his efforts, Santiago was named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
