Junior Domenico Santiago averaged a team-high 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game last week to lead the men's basketball team to a NECC split in the final week of the regular season. He recorded a double-double of 27 points and a game-high 14 rebounds in a win over Lesley to start the week. He shot 12-for-15 from the floor in the contest and also tallied three assists, two blocks and a steal. He then put up 14 points and seven rebounds in 19 minutes at Becker in the regular season finale. His efforts helped Mitchell secure the third seed in the NECC Championship and a home game in the first round.
