Junior Bryce Bedard went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA last week as the baseball team closed out its Florida trip by going 5-0. Both wins came in relief appearances and he struck out a total of seven batters over 6.1 scoreless innings. He picked up his first win of the season in a 4-3, 12-inning decision over Heidelberg, scattering three hits over 3.1 innings of work and striking out three to close out the game. He then tossed 3.0 innings against Waynesburg and allowed two hits while fanning four. He also made his collegiate debut at the plate and supplied an RBI single in the 18-6 win.
