Laurissa Amaker
Sophomore Laurissa Amaker posted a team-high 2.25 kills per set last week while leading the women's volleyball team to its first win of the season. She finished with eight kills, 14 digs and three service aces in a four-set road victory at Lesley. Earlier in the week she posted a double-double of 10 kills and 14 digs in a five-set loss at Albertus Magnus, and she also had nine kills and seven digs over three sets against Connecticut College. Amaker has started all 12 matches this season and leads the Mariners with 77 kills.
