Angel Galindez

Senior Angel Galindez (Carolina, PR) was a constant contributor for the Mitchell College baseball team on the week, slashing .550/.667/.650 while collecting at least one hit in every game to help lead the Mariners to a perfect 6-0 record on the week, including a 3-0 record in GNAC play.

Galindez recorded more than one hit in five of six games, and added 10 RBI, eight runs scored, six walks, three stolen bases, and one double, while only striking out four times. After beginning the week by going 2-4 with two runs scored in a conference victory over Lasell University, Galindez went 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored in a tight non-conference win over Clark University. In a busy weekend of conference action, the senior upped his game, tallying six hits and nine RBI across three GNAC games, highlighted by a 2-3 performance against Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, March 30th, finishing with five RBI and three runs scored.

In three GNAC games on the week, Galindez batted .533 with nine RBI, eight hits, six runs scored, and five walks.
