Kenny Lewis

Mitchell junior Kenny Lewis (Orlando, Fla.) delivered a breakout performance for the Mariners in a non-conference game against Westfield State as part of the Cadet-Mariner Classic tournament. 

Lewis led all scorers with 22 points off the bench, shooting 47% from the floor, 40% from three-point territory, and 80% from the free throw line. The 22 points were a career-high for Lewis, who added a pair of steals, one rebound, and one assist in 29 minutes of play. The 22 points is the most scored by a Mitchell men's basketball player through the Mariners first three games of the season.

The Mariners (0-3, 0-0 GNAC) will host Coast Guard Academy on Tuesday, November 21st, at 3:30 pm in their final game before the Thanksgiving break.
