An outstanding pitcher, he led the team in wins and saves and was
selected to the first team All-New England baseball team
... voted the Most Valuable Player on the Mitchell baseball
team and named the varsity outstanding male athlete in 1981
... played forward and center on the men's basketball team ...
following Mitchell College he was the winning pitcher in the 1982
NCAA Division III Championship game for Eastern Connecticut State
University.
