During his tenure he was a dedicated physical education teacher, soccer and tennis coach ... his soccer teams won three Region 15 Championships and twice finished third in the NJCAA National Soccer Tournament ... named Junior College National Coach of the Year in 1975 ... several of his players were selected All-Region and All-American ... many of his players went on to start at senior colleges and played professionally ... his Hartwick College team won the 1977 Division I NCAA National Soccer Championship ... was named NCAA Division I National Coach of the Year in 1984 ... throughout his soccer coaching career he has been involved at the national, international and Olympic level.
