An outstanding two-sport athlete, he played goalie on the 1969 Region 15 Championship Soccer Team ... was named to the Region 15 All-Tournament Soccer Team ... the 1969 team finished third in the NJCAA National Soccer Tournament ... played right field on the baseball team and had the highest batting average on the team as a freshman ... as a senior, he was awarded the varsity "M" award as the outstanding athlete at the college ... went on to play soccer and earn All-Conference honors at Rider College.
