Wolfgang Woischke was selected First Team All Region, All-American and team captain during his tenure at Mitchell while playing for then head coach Warren Swanson. After Mitchell Wolfgang attended the University of Bridgeport and captained the men’s soccer team while earning All East Coast honors in 1970. Mr. Woischke participated in the 1970 Olympic trials before enjoying a playing and coaching career in Germany for over 30 years. He also served as a senior executive with former teammate Hank Steinbrecher for the FIFA VIP Hospitality program for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
