Baseball Sinks Cadets to Collect Second GNAC Victory
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College freshman Chas Terni Jr. (Montville, Conn.) finished 4-4 with four RBI and one run scored on Sunday afternoon, helping power the Mariners past Norwich University 8-2 in a GNAC battle at Alumni Field.
Men’s Lacrosse Suffers Senior Day Setback Against Elms
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Mitchell College men’s lacrosse team opened up Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play with a 15-5 loss against Elms College on Saturday afternoon. The game also served as senior day for the team, as Weston Schumacher (Sherborn, Mass.), CJ Bradley (West Babylon, N.Y.), Dylan Kinsella (Waterbury, Conn.), and Robert Campbell (Glastonbury, Conn.) were honored in a pregame ceremony.
Baseball Holds Off Monks for Victory in GNAC Opener
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College senior Camren Varney (Manchester, N.H.) allowed just two earned runs across seven and two third innings of work, helping power the Mariners to a 4-3 victory over Saint Joseph’s College (ME) in the GNAC opener for both ball clubs.

Seahawks Fly Past Baseball
NEWPORT, R.I. – The #8 Salve Regina Baseball team pounded out a program record 27 runs in a 27-2 win over Mitchell College on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference game at Reynolds Field. The victory was the 11th straight for the nationally ranked Seahawks, while the Mariners have now dropped two in a row heading into their first conference game of the season.
Women’s Lacrosse Downed at Regis
WESTON, Mass. – The Mitchell College women’s lacrosse team returned to action on Wednesday afternoon, dropping their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game of the season, 20-3 to Regis College.

Senior Cole Lalli (Coventry, Conn.) turned in the best week of his career for the Mitchell College baseball team, slashing .533/.550/.933 with a home run, three doubles, nine RBI, and three runs scored, helping guide the Mariners to a 3-2 record.

Junior Emily Reynolds (Somers, Conn.) made five appearances in the circle on the week, including four starts, while posting a 2.95 ERA for the Mitchell College softball team.
