Abdul Mansaray

Mitchell College sophomore Abdul Mansaray (Jacksonville, Fla.) was unstoppable in two games during the week, averaging 26.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game while shooting an outstanding 64.9 percent from the field, helping guide the Mariners to a pair of victories.

He opened the week by leading his team to a narrow 74–73 win over Rivier, scoring 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting while adding 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks in 34 minutes. Mansaray followed that effort with a dominant performance in an 86–66 victory over Johnson & Wales (RI), pouring in a collegiate career-high 32 points on 15-of-23 shooting. He controlled the paint on both ends, recording a 12-rebound double-double to go along with 3 steals and 3 blocks.

For the week, Mansaray averaged 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game, totaling 53 points on 24-of-37 shooting.
