MANSFIELD, Mass.- A total of 107 student-athletes, including 27 from Mitchell College, have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference team for the 2022-2023 Winter and Spring semesters, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
DelaCruz Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-America Team

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College senior Dougie DelaCruz (Uncasville, Conn.) received another national honor on Thursday night when the 2023 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America teams were released and announced at the Opening Ceremony of the NCAA Division III College World Series in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College senior Dougie DelaCruz (Uncasville, Conn.) was named Region Position Player of the Year in Region 2 when the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year were announced for all 10 regions on Tuesday morning. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee.

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Mitchell College baseball team saw their season come to an end in the championship round of the NCAA Baseball Championship New London Regional, falling twice on Monday to top-seeded and No. 8/9 Wheaton College, 6-5 in the opener and 5-3 in the deciding final game.

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sophomore first baseman Bo Yaworski (Brooklyn, Conn.) went 4-5 with three doubles and six RBI, powering the third-seeded Mitchell College baseball team past top-seeded and No. 8/9 Wheaton College, 7-4, in the NCAA New London Regional at Alumni Field. The Mariners, who were playing the Lyons for the first time in program history, improve to 33-8 overall while Wheaton drops to 38-7 and into the loser's bracket of the Regional.
