2011: Started and played in 30 games ... every start came behind
the plate ... batted .294 with 17 RBI and 19 runs scored ... seven
of her 25 hits went for extra bases, including five doubles ... hit
a pair of homers ... drew a team-high 13 walks ... stole four bases
without being caught ... batted .320 in conference play ... had
five multi-hit games ... had four multi-RBI games ... longest
hitting streak spanned four games ... went 3-for-3 with two
doubles, four RBI and two runs scored in the second game against
Wheelock ... went 6-for-8 with five RBI and four runs scored in a
doubleheader at Southern Vermont ... drove in all five runs in the
second game and had a triple and home run in the contest ... also

It was a dominant week for Mitchell College junior Brooke Whitmarsh (Portsmouth, R.I.), as the junior catcher/3B slashed .440/.500/.640, helping guide the Mariners to a 6-2 record on the week, including a 5-1 mark in conference play.

Michael Ficocelli (North Providence, R.I.) continued his strong freshman season, slashing .467/.467/.533, helping guide the Mitchell College baseball team to a 3-0 record on the week, including a 1-0 mark in conference play.
