Emily Reynolds

Junior right handed pitcher Emily Reynolds (Somers, Conn.) was a workhorse for the Mitchell College softball team this past week, making five appearances in the circle, including four starts, while posting a 2.95 ERA.

In three of those outings, Reynolds gave up no earned runs, while surrendering just one earned run in another start.

She tossed a pair of complete games, including a 2-1 win over Pitt.-Greensburg where she allowed just one run (none earned), while striking out five. Reynolds also did not  allow any earned runs in victories over St. Scholastica and Marywood, while allowing one earned run in a 2-0 loss to Ohio Wesleyan and three earned runs in 4-2 loss against Trinity. She tallied seven strikeouts to just four walks with nine earned runs in six appearances.

In eight appearences this season, the junior is sporting a 1-4 record with a 4.52 ERA.
